Guest Policies

We want every guest to enjoy a comfortable and memorable stay at The Stix. To help ensure a pleasant experience for everyone, we kindly ask guests to take note of the following policies.

Check-in and Check-Out

Check-in is from 14:00.

Check-out is by 10:00.

Early check-in and late check-out may be available by prior arrangement and subject to availability.

Payments

For online bookings, full payment is required to secure your reservation.

Bookings will only be confirmed once the required payment has been received.

Cancellation Policy

Guests may cancel free of charge up to 30 days prior to the date of arrival.

Refunds, where applicable, will be processed according to the cancellation policy associated with your booking.

Occupancy

Our cottages accommodate a maximum of 4 guests each.

The Farmhouse accommodates a maximum of 12 guests.

Only the number of guests specified and paid for on the booking may occupy the accommodation.

Additional guests are only permitted by prior arrangement.

Pets

Pets are permitted by prior arrangement only.

Pets may not be left unattended at the accommodation at any time.

Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets and ensuring they do not disturb other guests.

The Stix reserves the right to ask guests to leave should their pet become disruptive or a nuisance to others.

Noise & Consideration for Other Guests

We kindly ask guests to be considerate of others and keep noise levels to a reasonable level, particularly during the evening and early morning.

Quiet hours are observed from 22:00 each evening.

Excessive noise, parties, or behaviour that disturbs other guests will not be permitted.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted inside any of the accommodation units.

Guests are welcome to smoke in designated outdoor areas and are requested to dispose of cigarette butts responsibly.

Damage & Loss

Guests are responsible for any loss or damage caused during their stay.

Any damages should be reported as soon as possible.

Fishing & Outdoor Activities

Fishing and outdoor activities are enjoyed at guests' own risk.

Children should be supervised at all times around dams and outdoor areas.

Liability

While every effort is made to ensure a safe and enjoyable stay, The Stix accepts no responsibility for loss, theft, injury, or damage to personal belongings during your visit.

Right of Admission Reserved

The Stix reserves the right to refuse accommodation or request guests to leave should their behaviour negatively impact other guests, staff, property, or the peaceful enjoyment of the establishment.
